All About CTET Exam 2019

CTET Examination conducted by the Center is organized to determine eligibility for the teacher. This year,  more than 20 lakh test takers were registered for the CTET examination. Out of which about 14 lakhs were present in the examination. This examination conducted for Teachers’ Eligibility Certificate was organized in 97 cities across the country. Central Teachers Eligibility Test is in the form of two papers. In which paper 1st is organized to determine eligibility for becoming a teacher for class 1 to class 5. And Paper II is organized to determine eligibility for being a teacher from class 6 to class 8. The CTET certificate is valid for 7 years, i.e. the candidates passing the CTET can take teacher’s examination for the next 7 years.

CTET Cut Off Marks Required to Pass

Candidates of general category will have to get 60 percent or more marks to pass in the CTET exam.

And candidates of OBC / SC / ST category will have to get 55% marks to pass in the CTET 2019 exam.

If we talk about marks then the general category candidates will have to get 90 out of 150 marks, while OBC / SC / ST candidates will have to get 82 marks out of 150 to pass.

Why CBSE CTET Result 2020 is so Important

The job of a teacher in India is counted as one of the best jobs because in this gets good salaries with respect. Therefore, after BED most of the candidates want to get a job as a teacher. But for applicants to apply for teacher recruitments, it is mandatory for the candidate to pass in the Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET). For which both the Center and the State organize the teacher Eligibility Test. The examination organized by the Center is called the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), which was organized on July 7 this year. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had asked to issue the CTET result 2020 in official notification within 6 weeks.   • Candidates will have to first go to the official website of the department to download the CBSE CTET result.

  • Now click on Result section
  • Select CTET Result 2020 Link and click on it
  • Enter your roll number and date of birth and submit
  • Your Result will be displayed on screen
  • Download and take a print out for future use.

Expected CTET Cut Off  & Percentage

According to the students giving examinations, easy questions were asked in this year’s CTET examination compared to other years. If the exam was really simple, then the merit list could definitely go high. This time pass percentage can also increase compared to the previous results.

Primary School – 17%

Middle School – 15%

If the talk of cut off of last year, the cut-off of the general category was 90 in the year 2018 whereas OBC had 85 and SC / ST had 80.

Roll number is required to see the result and the roll number is printed on the admittance card. So keep the admit card correctly so that you can easily see the roll number when the result is come.
